This one-day event will bring high school/ college students, as well as job seekers, from the community together to explore college and career opportunities in and around Chenango County. Under the direction of CDO's Workforce Development Board, the Emerging Worker Committee provides on-going leadership and support for continuous quality improvement for local youth programs.

We assist with planning, operational and other issues related to youth.

We recommend ways to leverage resources and coordinate services.

If you would like to serve on this committee, we meet quarterly in Oneonta.

Leadership Development Training Graduates

Norwich CDO Workforce's Fall 2017 Leadership Development Training class has graduated.

Leadership Development Training is a class that teaches students Leadership skills that will be both valuable in employment and their communities.

Students develop career plans and learn the tools that will provide them an avenue of success in their future endeavors.

Students were presented with certificates of completion for their portfolios and were also given a $50.00 incentive for completing the class.

These young people are now more marketable to employers and have a resume booster that most people do not have.
