CNA Training Program Beginning in November!!

DCMO BOCES will be conducting a Certified Nurse's Aide Program at the R.W.Harrold Campus in Sidney Center.

Training Description:

  • Provides you an educational opportunity to develop the medical knowledge and clinical skills necessary to become a Nursing Assistant.
  • Prepares you for the New York State Department of Health Certified Nursing Assistant examination.
  • Provides a flexible and short-term educational schedule, with classes held at our R.W. Harrold Campus in Sidney Center.

Certified Phlebotomy Technician Training Program Coming Soon!

DCMO BOCES will be conducting a Certified Phlebotomy Technician Program at the Chenango Campus in Norwich.

Phlebotomy technicians are important members of the clinical laboratory team. New diagnostic techniques, clinical laboratory technology and automated instruments have greatly increased the volume of- and demand for- medical laboratory testing performed by phlebotomy technicians. Phlebotomy technician graduates can work in hospitals, physicians' offices or in independent labs.

Community Habilitation Support Worker Needed in Greene!!

Community Habilitation:
To provide education, instruction and supports to enable individual to achieve personal goals. Staff will help individual learn independent living and community orientation skills, including but not limited to meal prep, shopping, safety skills, physical fitness and accompany individual on community outings. Travel required and staff will receive mileage reimbursement, starting point in Greene.

The Chenango County BEAM Program has found its home away from home! As of October 26, 2016, Heather Schaap will be available to meet Perspective and Current BEAM students on the Norwich Campus of Morrisville State College. The new BEAM office is located downstairs in room 110 (in the Adjunct Faculty Suite).
