General knowledge of mechanical, hvac, and electrical equipment, components and parts with the technical ability to comprehend, interpret and analyze basic manufacturing data. Experience with understanding and reading flow charts, statistical charts/graphs, reports, and blueprints.  Installs machines and equipment-; couplings and alignment; rigging and hoisting; assist with start-up and debugging new equipment. Good Sanitation Practices when handling equipment.

Responsible to follow FSQ requirements and other daily job specific duties to support QRMP.  Perform all required observations and training timely and as scheduled.  Perform set-up, start-up and changeover procedures for the equipment as needed.

Responsible for conducting and documenting quality checks.

Responsible for clean-up of the equipment after smash-ups or misfeeds.  Responsible for monitoring and communicating any process or product abnormalities to your Supervisor, Team Leader, or Line Technician.  Perform all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Team Leader.

High School Diploma or GED Required.

Flexibility to work all shifts including second, third, weekends and holidays.

Manufacturing experience preferred.

Training Program. Upon successful completion the of the program and obtaining your NYS certification, candidates will be offered full time position in the Nursing Home.

Program Director – Aging Life Services Program - Otsego County

Catholic Charities Senior and Caregiver Support Services is seeking a Program Director with outstanding written and verbal communication, leadership and planning skills to oversee our Aging Life Services Program, currently in Columbia and Otsego Counties.   The Aging Life Services Program provides case management services to older adults living in the rural community as well as non-medical in-home/community assistance utilizing volunteers.

This position will require regular travel (75%) to and around Otsego and Columbia Counties and will have mileage reimbursement.  The Program Director will be responsible for supervision of program staff, directing the program, reviewing casefiles, and ensuring efficient, effective and compassionate service delivery. 

Working with County stakeholders, local constituents and staff, the successful candidate will develop and implement countywide program planning/assessment activities to aid future program development/expansion as well as to ensure current agency programming is meeting the needs of seniors and caregivers in the community.

The Program Director’s communication, organizational and analytical skills will be essential in the development of potential funding streams and implementation strategies.  The Program Director will be responsible for developing and monitoring outcome measures that demonstrate the impact of the services within the geographic region.


  • Bachelors Degree in Social Work or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience providing direct care services to clients, preferably older adult populations
  • 3+ years’ experience supervising staff
  • Experience/involvement with community planning and program development strongly preferred
  • Demonstrates medium level of proficiency with computer applications especially Microsoft software products (e.g., for purposes of reviewing program’s casefiles, generating reports, developing data sets, etc)
  • Desire to work in a mission-oriented organization
