Cybersecurity training for both employed and unemployed individuals


The U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency recently issued a security agency warning called “Shields Up” – ( to inform the Nation of potential malicious cyber activity against the U.S. homeland. Every organization—large and small—must be prepared to respond to disruptive cyber incidents. Now more than ever, Americans and American businesses must remain vigilant against damaging cyber attacks.

CDO Workforce has a grant to fund Cybersecurity training for both employed and unemployed individuals. This training funding is available to both individuals and to company's IT staff who wish to increase their IT and Cybersecurity knowledge. CDO has partnered with SUNY Delhi to offer a number of on-line Cybersecurity Certifications that are fully funded by Project Excite. These Cybersecurity certifications include:

Certified Ethical Hacker
Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP)
CompTIA Certification Training Network+, Security+
CompTIA Certification Training: A+ Network +, Security+
Information Security Training
