Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) Savings Accounts & ADA Basics for Job Seekers 

Sponsored by the Family Resource Network and CDO Workforce 

Presenters: Kathy DeAngelo and Alan Sessions, Disability Resource Coordinators and ADA Trainers  

Do you want to be more independent, or save money for your dream car, house or vacation, and have a better quality of life? That’s what ABLE Accounts are all about! This workshop will show you how easy and affordable ABLE account are and how they will help you save money that won’t impact SSI and other federal benefits that are critical to the health and well-being of many individuals with disabilities. This workshop will review best practices for workers with disabilities when disclosing their disability. Learn about the American Disability Act and how, when, and if you need to disclose a disability to a potential employer.  

When: Wednesday, September 18, 2019, 9:30am to 11:30AM
