Work-Based Learning (WBL)


Work-based learning is an opportunity to gain work experience while also learning academic and technical skills.


Getting Started

  1. Download the WBL Worksheet to guide you through this section.
  2. Fill out the Work Experience Form by writing down any previous employment, volunteer work, or extracurricular activities.
  3. Review the different WBL activities below. Take notes on which WBL activities interest you.
  4. Share this information with your Disability Resource Coordinator (DRC) or career counselor. They can help connect you to a WBL program based on your interests.
