Get your GED

Here’s a harsh reality: A high school diploma, or its equivalent, teaches you everything you need to know if you plan to do nothing. But without a diploma or GED, you’ll never get a chance to learn the things that will keep you employed and developing a good career.

So if you’re considering dropping out of high school: Don’t.

In reality, getting your GED is a lot of work. But having one shows employers that you’re willing to make the necessary commitment to your own success. And commitment is exactly what they’re looking for.
