In late 2009, The Raymond Corp. started hiring again. They contacted the CDO Workforce for recruitment, testing, and training funding services.

CDO Workforce Business Services staff provided recruitment services using the New York Job Bank and developed On-the-Job Training (OJT) programs through the Chenango-Delaware-Otsego Workforce Investment Board. Raymond Corp. also applied for the State OJT program.

Of The Raymond Corp.’s new hires since Jan. 1, 20 have participated in the OJT program. The company plans to hire up to 100 more workers and will take advantage of CDO Workforce System services.
